In Honor of R. A. J. Warneford

This is a crop of a snowboard design I am working on. It depicts one of those air raids performed by Flying Lawnmowers & Steel Balloons. The full design of "Dirigible 156" is on its way later this week followed by a second, unrelated snowboard design.

Warneford was the first pilot to take down one of those Zeppelins that was more known to scare the shit out of everyone rather than for the actual damage it dealt. His achievement earned him singed eyebrows and the Victoria Cross.

ooooooooooooooooooooooh

Looks like a sweet old-time-deco poster.

I betcha that would look amazing on a snowboard.

(The arm fix looks way better, by the by)

although, I've just noticed that the left half of his body kind of disappears into nothing. It feels like there should be something there, somehow?

On the plus side, it doesn't look like domestic abuse anymore, haha.
